Abicus Finnley from New York, Canada writes: Kind of an obvious philosophy isn't it? I mean what else you going to do - copy the Leafs and contest them for lamest franchise in the history of professional hockey?

dc abrahamson from Japan writes: I got a laugh out of the "crash and burn" section...only the Leafs managed to squeeze two players in! (though then again, I think the whole Sens team won that award last year!)

Eric C from Canada writes: I like Montreal's chances but I still think the Senators have more skill and firepower if they get their goaltending in order, say by picking up a goaltender from Chicago? Ottawa getting rid of Redden should be classified as a good thing because he has been a pylon for years. Look for Vermette to step up and become a more prominent goal scorer, he has great hands. Fisher and Alfie will again be the heart of the team. Would be scary if Spezza decided to play to his potential and stop trying to make cute plays and passing instead of scoring. Montreal's weakness will also be their goaltending.
Vancouver is looking good but likely still won't be able to compete with the likes of San Jose and Anaheim. If they could just learn to put the puck in the net.- Posted 09/10/08 at 3:27 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
