Goalkeeper Greg Sutton and defender Jim Brennan of Toronto FC have been named to the Canadian national men's senior soccer team that will face Brazil and Panama in friendlies.
Canada faces Brazil in Seattle on May 31 and Panama in Fort Lauderdale on June 4.
Meanwhile, teammate Maurice Edu will be on the U.S. national team's roster that plays against England at Wembley Stadium next Wednesday after all, it was confirmed on Thursday.
Edu has been named to the team to replace Benny Feilhaber who suffered a knee injury with the U.S. Under-23 national team against Turkey on Wednesday, a 3-2 loss for the U.S. team.
Edu was left off the original roster for the match released earlier this week. He was on the 33-player pool from which the team was selected. The U.S. also will choose players for its friendlies against Spain and Argentina from that pool.
He is scheduled to leave for England after Toronto plays D.C. United at RFK Stadium on Saturday.
He will miss next Tuesday's Canada Cup match against the Montreal Impact in Montreal.
Other Major League Soccer players on the Canadian roster are goalkeeper Pat Onstad and midfielder Dwayne De Rosario of the Houston Dynamo, Adrian Serioux of FC Dallas and Ante Jazic of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Adrian Cann, a defender with the Vancouver Whitecaps of the United Soccer Leagues, also is on the roster.
The team will begin a training camp on Sunday in Seattle.
