Jamie Pridmore from Calgary, Canada writes: An easy first ballot Hall of Famer. Piazza is the greatest hitting catcher the game has ever known. In my 30 years of watching baseball he was one of my favourite hitters to watch. I remember one at bat he had against Curt Schilling were he took a high 95 mph fastball that seemed to be about chin high and drive it 420 feet to right centre at Dodger Stadium. Tremendous hitter.
