Kevka Y. from London, Canada writes: JD Wood from Toronto, Canada writes: The question is why is Canada sending ANY athletes at all to red China where tyranny and torture reign supreme? ____________________________ For a place where "tyranny and torture reign supreme", China is ranked relatively high on the Global Peace Index at 67 (out of 140). You just selectively notice when China shows its aggressive, seemingly amoral ruthlessness - and neglect when it demonstrates a more compassionate side with a willingness to aid others.
