    Wow, it's hard to know where to start with the level of ignorance displayed in your 1:41 AM comments...

    I have been watching and playing hockey all my life (grew up in Montreal in the 1970s). I watched a number of Team Canada games at the Metro Centre in Halifax last week and I didn't find any of them boring.

    Each team that Canada competed against had their own strengths and weaknesses. For Norway, it was their "viking blood." For Latvia and Slovenia, it was the enthusiasm of their fans. I did wish that more of the teams involved were able to match Canada to make some of the games a little more competitive, however...

    Nevertheless, I am betting that Canada versus Russia will be a great final, and it's been too long of a time since these two teams have matched up in this tournament as Mr. MacGregor's article says.

    They play three weeks for free -- Team Canada creates a nice atmosphere for them and their families and they just have fun.

    Every team has to deal with the refs -- not just the Czechs.

    You know what I saw in the Sweden-Czech quarterfinal? I saw Hnilicka, the Czech goalie panic -- and FLOP to the ice looking for a SOCCER (football) type call -- then bounce up too late to find he could not make the stop and Sweden won. Not professional at all. Play THE GAME first. It seemed like it could have been Hadamczik, the Czech coach's plan because he and his assistant were quickly jabbering for a call up to the video box -- and if THAT had happened Hnilicka would have gotten two minutes for UNSPORSTMANLIKE CONDUCT.

    LESSON: Do not cheat -- play the game hard.

    P.S Good luck to the Czech Republic in the upcoming EURO Soccer tournament. It is too bad Rosicky and Nedved cannot play.

    You never mentioned that even for a minute...You never mentioned that Czechs got bronze at the latest Olympics,medals a couple of years ago etc...

    All you talk about Canada and how unbeatable they are in hockey...That's why everybody in the World,including the European players in HNL,really hate Canada for being completely brainwashed...

    Man,you almost lost to Norway in the first game and Sweden in the semies and got there by luck...I tell you that had the Czechs hanged on the win vs. Sweden{4 minutes to go},they would have beat Canada in the semies...

    That's why all these players accepted to play to have the chance to beat Canada...otherwise they don't care...they are all sick of you as I am and everybody in the World is too.

    Doesn't matter,Russians will spoil your fun tomorrow.I hope you don't even get on the score sheet...
