j mac from copenhagen, Canada writes: this is a sad day for celtic and for fans of a sporting gentleman...i met tommy burns as a 15 year old while playing in scotland..the kindest man...always had a smile for youngsters playing the game..i met him then 15 years later at a church in dennistoun glasgow, (where he went with his sister alomst every week) and he made my day by saying he remembered me because i was the "canadian kid"..he did not even remember but the way he smiled and shook hands with me was stuff that role models should aspire to..he was always friendly with the punters and with rangers fans alike was so impressive..a true celt, jungle jim and a legacy for future players to admire...RIP TB

The Special One... I Am Fantastic from Brampton, Canada writes: Tommy Burns was a great player and a tragedy to lose. Hopefully his passing was more peaceful and painless than his cancer treatment was reported to have been on him.
