Gordon Howe from HockeyTown, United States writes: Like I've said all along. Don't take the foot off the accelerator. Dallas will be coming hard tonite so quick line changes are the order of the nite. Limit shots and scoring chances and we'll do fine. Dallas has a good team. A little banged up but who isn't this time of year. Franzens still out so the Wings will have to tighten up again. Make it as boring as possible. If the Stars get too greedy then hopefully the Wings can make them pay. No stupid penalties. I'm sure the refs will run a tight ship and hopefully the penalties will even themselves out tonite. Last game was kind of one sided. You have to be equal on both sides. The refs can't let this thing get too one sided. If they do we might end up back home.

Vijay Kumar from Canada writes: At least in this decade, it has never happened that two so evenly matched power houses will battle it out for the stanley cup. Penguins vs. Red Wings has got such a ring to it.
Can't wait for it to get started.- Posted 14/05/08 at 12:40 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Question is: are Red Wings a type of bird or a wing attached to a motor city wheel?
If the former then this will be a battle of the birds not for the birds.- Posted 14/05/08 at 1:43 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Sean O'Reilly from Canada writes: I never understand people that attach the games they think a team will win it in when they offer a prediction.

Scot Loucks from Pickering, Canada writes: Sean O'Reilly .... when they say 7 games it means they don't really know and are afraid to bet on it.
For example I am betting on Detroit in 5 or less.... they will school the young pens.

Hugh Draper from Vancouver, Canada writes: The young Penguins were going to be out-muscled by the Flyers.
The young Penguins will win the cup.
I wish the Canucks would abandon the old-timer strategy.- Posted 14/05/08 at 4:58 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Scot I thought when they said it was going 7 games that meant that for sure it wasn't going 8. LOL
Hugh as far as the Pens getting outmuscled by the Flyers, the Wings were supposed to get banged by all the teams they've beaten. Go figure. I just hope that the Refs don't offer up a stinker tonight. I've just got this feeling though. Bill, can you cheer me up a bit or do you have that feeling that the Refs may have something to do with tonites game?- Posted 14/05/08 at 6:41 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Proud Canadian from Canada writes: Scotty Loucks , dont bet the house on it. 2 very good teams. Dont be more than you can afford. Its a game played on ice so it makes it slippery. Could go either way, both great teams. My bet is Penguins, I live close enough to Detroit to be a fan, but smart enough not to be one.
