No question he will be dealing with emotion during the game. I am sure though that if he had a chance to ask his grandfather, he would get the go ahead to play.
Chances to win the stanley cup come few and far between for most players. Its pretty tough to leave the team now with so much on the line.
There will be time for grieving later, and funerals are more for the living than they are the dead.
Go get em Jordan.
