Kirwan Martin from Canada writes: One obvious reason that CBC audiences are down is that RDS audiences are up. A lot of Canadiens fans avoid watching our team on CBC, which has chosen to position itself as the Maple Leafs in-house broadcaster. Throughout the season they broadcast virtually nothing else, their commentators are way worse and they feature Don Cherry's wall-to-wall hyping of his team.
