Blair: Goodbye Joe, You Gotta Go

So much for the Joe Inglett Experience. The pint-sized utility player with the habit of showing his skills at the wrong time was optioned to

Triple-A Syracuse Saturday to make room for Adam Lind - and about time.
Inglett's inability to put down a squeeze bunt in that 7-5, 14-inning loss to the Texas Rangers on April 16 started this whole stinking

10-game run in which the team has played like utter crap, going 2-8. It's nice that dude hit a triple - but I like my gritty, fourth-line types to

be able to drop a bunt and field with aplomb. Anyhow, Inglett's gone and suddenly the Blue Jays have added some balance to their lineup. I

have to think that manager John Gibbons will shake up his lineup at some point if it continues to come up short, but for now Lind is hitting

eighth. I'd move him higher up - hell, maybe even lead off with him and bat David Eckstein second or something like that. I can see why

Gibbons wants to see how the lineup plays out with Scott Rolen and Lind both in it, however.
Oh, by the way. I had lunch in the back of a garage Saturday, at the suggestion of The Gnashional Post's Sandler. So should you if you're

ever down here (http://www.oklahomajoesbbq.com/) The brisket's nothing short of sensational.
