Jake ---- from Canada writes: Wow, I'm really impressed with the starting rotation of the jays. There Bullpen looks deep to. Hopefully the pitchers can stay healthy and this team should take the division.

L. W. from Greener Pastures, Canada writes: I was really surprised at the rule 5 kid (Wells) He looked comfortable on the mound. I also like that the hitters are using the whole field. I wonder if the new batting coach has something to do with that?

Spiny Norman from Georgetown, ON, Canada writes: An excellent effort all 'round - throughout the lineup, on the base paths, in the field, and on the mound. Save for the occasional hiccup, the '08 Jays are already looking like a team; who would've thunk it? Now if they can do all these things at the same time that Doc is on the hill, they'll be unstoppable. Way to pound one, Frank! Like you said, and other clever people say, the pre-season means nothing. Stay healthy, boys, and bring on the pennant!

Kenneth Yurchuk from Canada writes: Nice start to the season. Staring rotation is on fire early, and the bullpen is solid. We have some bangers, but the key to success for the jays is going to be moving runners and situational hitting. Lon season ahead but......hope springs eternal!

Uncle Elmer from Canada writes: The pitching has been impressive so far. I'm still not sold on the offense or the defense, but pitching is key. It's very early, but a sweep of the defending world champs would make a statement.

I also question there offence. But they currently have 3 potential 30 home run guys in there lineup. Eckstine adds speed on the bases and is a great situational hitter. One thing you can't forget is if the jay continue to allow 2-3 runs a game, they will win 100 games. Yankees and the bosox have major question marks in there pitching. John S from Coupdaville, Canada writes: Always liked Rance Mulliniks. Smart guy and good player. He's looking a tad bit more intelligent today but the season is so incredibly LONG. All I'm going to say is we may make it to the end of July this year with our hopes intact. And even though I miss Reed Johnson cudos to Shannon Stewart for quietly doing his job. Cudos also to the coaches for moving the runners over and taking what the opposition gives you. Oh and one more: Yikes do I ever like that Eckstein!
