Czar Nicholas from Ottawa, Canada writes: I'm sure Alberta will put in a great bid!
And probably will be awarded to a Canadian city as we are the only ones who watch in droves...- Posted 31/03/08 at 10:57 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Henry Allen from East Bank, Don River, Canada writes: A joint venture by Edmonton and Calgary would do a fantastic job. I'd love to see the World Juniors come here to Toronto, but Edmonton-Calgary would have better community support, and hockey fans there would be tearing their rink roofs off. You won't see any fans sitting on their hands there, and every game will be sold out to show support for all the Juniors, no matter where they're from. The Europeans would be blown away by the community enthusiasm. And, those two cities know how to party.

max from edmonton from Canada writes: Here's hoping we do put in a successful bid. I have to agree with the 2 posters above. We would see a heck of a show.
I have travelled quite a bit across the country and i can say with fair certainty that there are few places in Canada where the fans wouldnt fill the seats and show the world where hockey lives!- Posted 01/04/08 at 12:59 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
