  1. D Burgess from Vancouver, Canada writes: "Not with a bang but a whimper"

That will sum up the end of the careers of both Linden and Naslund, and also the end of Morrison's tenure as a Canuck.

It's time for some golf, and some plans to put the salary to better use while we still have Luongo.
  2. M D from Nuckerville, Canada writes: Well, if that wasn't showing the fans their seasons over, I don't know what is. How did they expect to beat Minnesota, when they're carrying clubs, not sticks?

Pathetic Vancouver. I can understand being beat by a better team, I can't understand just not showing up. Your fans deserve better.
  3. Robert Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Hey Vancouver:

Are you guys yet figuring out about Alain Vigneault what Habs fans may have figured out long ago?

Without question, the Canucks need to pull it together as a team and again start playing some desperate hockey.

I was hoping that we would have, at least, 5 of 6 Canadian teams in this year's playoffs...
  4. John - from BC Interior, Canada writes: This is how I expected the Canucks' season to end. I'm disappointed they aren't going to finish at the bottom of the heap though, thereby securing the top draft pick.

They aren't good enough to make the playoffs, but too good to get a real decent draft pick.
  5. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: The WeakNuks keep surprising (me).
Last year figured WeakNuks would be 13 to 15th.
Then they upset the experts and did (almost fair) in the play-offs.

This year figured they would be (maybe 10th 12th).
Now lookie here they are almost in again this year.
How they managed to be this high in the standings with all these good Western Conference clubs is a mystery to me!

But bet you this bunch of nothings is going to make it again.
And if they do LOOK OUT Detroit--You'll be beat by the WeakNuks

Mr Noonis, the men that know; claim you are another Burkie genius.
    Better start proving it.

For the Nuck team isn't a twit better than several top AHL teams now
There are a lot of BIG holes to fill in Vanc Mr Noonis (you genius).

Good luck against the Red Wings. Will it take 7 or can it be done in 6

John Stanton from Canada writes: Toast!!! Luongo should have stayed in Florida with his wife! ha
  7. George S from Toronto, Canada writes: What happened to the Canucks? They were a lot more competitive early on this season.
  8. Sam Salmon from Vancouver-by-the-Sea, Canada writes: Again the mediocrities that pass for management in Vancouver have managed to wreck another season.

No need to worry though-the building is full and money is pouring in-ticket prices soon to rise along with salaries-why worry?
  9. emilio D from Canada writes: There is always next year. Bye bye. Sayonara. Adieus. Santa Banana.
  10. john wardle from Canada writes: I bet the players feel terrible now that they have to play golf in exotic locals.
  11. boom boom from Canada writes: The Nucks are threatening to become the Leafs of the West! At least the Leafs have won Cups before.
  12. M M from Calgary, Canada writes: Bye bye Vancouver
  13. Wanda Fyooka from Vancouver, Canada writes: Why single out Mitchell? If I recall, Salo, Mitchell, Kesler and Burrows were all on the ice for the four goals scored! New coaching staff, anyone?
  14. Ripley Bogle from Vancouver, Canada writes: Luongo's slowly but surely turned this team into his beloved Florida Panthers of three or four years ago. Thanks, Bobbie Lou, but I'd rather have a team that isn't built around you- I'd rather have one (like this year's Habs, for example) that actually tries to win (as opposed to tries not to lose.) It' absolutely shocking that people have been selling out GM Place all year to see this incredibly dull team. The most unlikeable bunch this organization's iced since the Keenan/Messier debacle of ten years ago.
  15. Michael Sharp from Canada writes:

    Actually?
    For myself?
I'm pretty much done with Swedes.
    Lose the Sedins and Naslund.
    Give me some Canadians.
Don Cherry has always been right.

You need look no further than the Sedins and Naslund to see why this team has no heart.
  16. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: Hey CanHuckleHeads tain't over 'till it's over.
And you will all be back whole hog and swill
When the Red Wings lose in the first round (to the Nuks)

But most of the forwards are BBBbbbboooring (and predictable).
Not Kesler, Burrows, and the 3 kids from the AHL though.
Linden may be over the hill, but he's still one of the best up front.

After the Sharks/Stars or the Ducks finish the Nucks in the 2nd round
Maybe it's time for Davie N to pull the plug and put in new plumbing.
