Alias No Name from Vanuatu writes: The Canada team will have their Final on Sunday vs Guatemala....A must win to hope to advance....
In my opinion they could have held on in both games vs Mexico and Haiti to win and be in,but they chose to do it the "hard way"....- Posted 15/03/08 at 1:31 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Too bad Stephen Hart wasn't the Olympic coach. It would have been a different story.- Posted 15/03/08 at 7:54 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

A Banana from Canada writes: Stephen Hart as the coach would be nice, but the real lesson here is that you can't expect to win when you give your team two weeks of prep.
That's BS compared to the way other countries are doing their planning. You're putting the squad at an immediate disadvantage. The CSA is too buzy paying off their Nycamp legal problems to properly fund our teams.- Posted 15/03/08 at 10:38 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Canada starts great as a team and then go down the hill from there...whereas the other countries,Mexico and Haiti are getting better as the game progresses...
Canada had the leads in both and wasted it in both...
The goals yesterday were both preventable...- Posted 15/03/08 at 3:59 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

JOHN PALANDRA from Toronto, Canada writes: Why is anyone surprised, this country is so predictable when it comes to international soccer. Get everyone excited with a tie against the mighty mexicans, then go on to lose against Haiti. It breaks my heart to say it, but this is typical team Canada soccer. I predict a 0-0 tie against Guatemala, with canadian soccer fans like ourselves lamenting what went wrong.

stan bowles II from Winnipeg, Canada writes: Dismantle the CSA and start over.
With all the kids playing this sport in Canada, with our population, with our access to funds, there are no excuses for the consistent failures of men's teams at all international tournaments.
We have players playing in the top leagues around the world (La Liga, English Premier League, Championship, MLS, Bundesliga, etc.) for crying out loud. DOWN WITH THE CSA!!!- Posted 16/03/08 at 8:12 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
