Managers John Gibbons and Joe Girardi just shook hands and the players are scurrying off to the cages so that's it. This pig appears to be roasted, Yankees leading 1-0. Some of the Yankees pitchers are hustling over to the indoor cages - one of the Yankees writers says "Look, Igawa's carrying an aluminum kite!" - so it looks like the teams are going to let their pitchers get some work in here. But Blue Jays P.R. guy Jay Stenhouse just came in to let us know that the game has NOT been rained out. Geezus god!
Anyhow, I'm heading back to civilization on Wednesday - gonna turn the controls over to MacLeod until I return on the 17th - so it's no biggie. Got the internet. Life is good ......
