Stan Bowles II from winnipeg, Canada writes: A sad sad story, whether you like the guy or not he is truly a tortured person, with many many demons.
I read his latest biography, and even though it is ghost written you can still feel all the issues constantly weighing this man down (anxiety disorder, alcoholism, mood swings, etc.)- Posted 21/02/08 at 11:16 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Martyn Whitt from Canada writes: I second your thoughts Stan, such a destructive problem that effects millions of people and destroys lives does alcohol. It's sad and so destructive, I pray for him and the millions of other affected by alchohol and or mental illness. Can only hope he can use this to do some good and help other people who have similar problems, but I don't see Gazza being able to that, but I hope.

Martyn Whitt from Canada writes: and please note that Gateshead is nowhere near London whoever wrote that above that he was arrested at a London hotel. London is in the southeast of England, Gateshead is in the Northeast of the country almost as far away as you can get from London and still be in England!
