Toronto FC completed a weekend sweep of its preseason matches on Sunday when it defeated the U.S. national Under-17 team 3-1 at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla.
This follows a 2-0 victory over Major League Soccer rival Kansas City Wizards on Saturday.
The TFC team used Sunday was made up mostly of younger players and those on trial.
One of the players on trial, former Manchester City midfielder Kiki Musampa had a goal on a penalty and an assist on Sunday after making his first appearance as a substitute on Saturday.
Jamie Watson who is on trial and Pat Phelan who was selected in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft last month also scored for TFC which fell behind 12 minutes into the match on a goal by Scott Caldwell.
Caldwell's shot from just outside the 18-yard box hit a TFC defender and went past goalkeeper Brian Edwards, a second-round pick in last month's draft.
In the 23rd minute, Watson was taken down on a clear chance and Musampa scored on the penalty.
TFC took the lead in the 87th minute off a corner with Tyler Rosenlund nicely setting up Phelan who headed the ball home.
A minute later, Watson scored after Musampa sent him in alone with an adroit pass over the last defender.
