  1. James McGillawee from Oshawa, Canada writes: Burnett reminds me of Steve McQueen. I'd like to see him ride into the Skydome on a Yamaha dirt bike, do a couple of jumps off the mound before heading out to the bull pen to warm up!
Give the advertising department some real material instead of these garbage throwing ads and jumping into a dumpster crap. These are highly paid athletes and idols for the next generation so forget the trash detail and make some real material for us dyed in the wool fans to watch during the inning breaks!
  2. mike mck from moncton, Canada writes: Burnett has potential to be one of best picters in baseball. He needs a manager who can work with him and handle his quirks. The question is can Gibbons be the manager that is able to draw out burnett and get him to pitch to his capabilities? I don't think he can do it, but maybe there is a pitching coach who can.
  3. Randy Lewis from Calgary, Canada writes: I was skeptical when Riccardi brought Burnett in and it's disappointing that the Jays' number 2 starter will not get through a season without an injury. Why is it that the Jays pitching staff has not gotten better throughout the Riccardi years? When he knows that he has to compete with the Red Sox and the Yankees every year, Riccardi refuses to go out and get a reliable starting pitcher. Last year he tried to piece things together with Chacin and Tomo Okha...hmmm. And once Burnett went down with an injury again, it was lights out on another season. Let's just hope that some of the young arms (McGowan, Marcum, League) can get them through this season before Riccardi has a chance to get some better arms during next year's free agency.
