  2. Massimiliano Frontini from Italy writes: I saw the Celtics game yesterday afternoon and I agree with my favorite worst enemy Sam, they've got to rebound better. It helped the Raptors that centre Andrea Bargnani chipped in 20 points against the Celtics and had a strong start to the game If you still want to call him a centre... He isn't... So I can reply to Big C: excellent game. The good 3pt % was due not only to an extraordinary night but also to the unselfishness of the Raps. They all played together as a team looking for the open man. A lot of shots were wide open. They struggled down the stretch with the poor rebounding. On Andrea: yeah, he played a good game. Anyway when he got back in the 4th, he wasn't really involved. That's also where he's got to improve: the 4th period. I also saw something different: he did not only pick and pop, he also drove to the lane (wonderful the reverse layup), he passed the ball... This shouldn't be an out of order game: this has to be his standard. So I'm gonna @#@## him if he doesn't play well the next game!!! Sam used 6 and a half men: this time the starters played a solid game, so the subs were not really needed but it's not going to be easy for Dixon, Hump and Co. to deal with this erratic playing time.
  3. john macdonald from Fredericton NB., Canada writes: Want to address some comments that came from the last article that I commented on. I made a bunch of trade possiblilities but deep down I want TJ and Jose to stay for the long term. But that being said to have both players get paid a crap load of coin might hurt the raps more than help them. I mean once Rasho leaves that will create a bunch of salary cap space but if it gets ate by Jose's new contract, and the raps draft picks are crap, then the team will be like the nets, good enough to make playoffs every year but not good enough to do anything productive in the post season. Oh and is there anyone on earth that know's when TJ will be back or the extent of his injury? Sireously I thought he would have been back by now, it's not like he blew out a knee or broke something. I know he has a spinal injury history but how long does it take to come back from a stinger. I wish he or the raps would give us an idea. Oh and the whole Bargs debate, he has stunk this year and I'm now going to side with Big C, the raps made a mistake in drafting him, they should have drafted Aldridge. I was a bit uncertain at the begining of last year if he was worth the no 1 pick but after one season I thought the raps did well, but now I'm second guessing. Plus I didn't know Aldridge was from Texas, I mean you already have two Texas studs on the raps, why didn't Bosh campaign harder to draft Aldridge. Anyway, it's the past and all we can do now is hope that Bargs can improve and live up to his potential. Man I will be heart broken if Jose leaves because of money this summer. Biggest mistake ever, much like when Nash left the Mavs.

  5. HC Bargs from Canada writes: Well put John Mac. I don't want to sound completely insensitive but TJ needs to make a decision. This is starting to border on ridiculous. His condition isn't going to get better with time...so he either has to play with it or retire. Taking all this time is doing nothing but hurting the Raptors.

    There I said it ;)
