Kris Hayward from g-town, writes: I suspect the leafs will win 2 out of 3 to keep the home fires brewing
Keeping them right on the bubble. Then they will come back home and get blown out 7-1. Here's a tip for you leaf fans, hope this team does not make the playoffs, there are actually a few good players that you can draft this year, that is if you finish in the bottom 2 or 3 in the league. Finish in in the 20th range and JFJ/Peddie will trade all their picks for another goalie.

Swifty J from Mariposa, Canada writes: If the Leafs with Toskala do well enough to hang around a half-dozen points out of the playoffs for the next six weeks, they'll squander more of their future to "make a run."
As someone who loves to see the Leafs stagnating and messing up, that's what I'm hoping for...- Posted 09/01/08 at 5:08 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Allan Martel from Canada writes: It is 20H00 EST on January 9, 2008. Two hours before the carnage begins.
The Leafs are still tied with Anaheim and will remain so until the game starts at which point they will be pummelled. First road trip loss.
They will also lose a close one in LA (second road trip loss) before proceeding to San Jose for the worst shellacking of their season and their third loss on this road trip.
In summary, the Leafs will end up as road kill on this road trip, their performance labelled as offal.
I can imagine the San Jose game ending with San Jose in double figures for goals, the Leafs scoring possibly 4 goals.
If that were to happen, how ironic that a score of 10 - 4 for San Jose will also be "10-4" for the Leafs as Leaf Nation fans again jump ship, this time into shark - infested waters.

elliot vine from Toronto, Canada writes: Martel you are so full of crap, all you ever do is come on and predict the leafs will lose by various margins every game which are often completely ridiculous. Wow what a brilliant hockey mind.

Scot Loucks from Pickering, Canada writes: I think I would have used Raycroft tonight and Toskala tomorrow night.
Anaheim has been on a roll since Niedermeyer came back and San Jose has the second best team in the west so Allan I wouldn't say your were being that prophetic in your comment....
btw elliot vine makes a decent point.... your comments do get a little tiresome sometimes. Watch the game.... feel free to comment afterwards.- Posted 09/01/08 at 8:34 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Super Troll from Canada writes: Hey Allan you were bang on! Ducks scored 2 minutes in. I guess it's not too difficult to predict the Leafs will lose tho.
