MK Euro 2008 Czechs..... from Canada writes: The Czechs also ended up getting 2 penalties vs them,in the 14 minute of the 3rd...and then right after another for "too many men"....Which just illustrates the "dire straits" they are in for last few years with Junior Hockey...
Otherwise,it was fun to watch the game itself,with the Russians coming at the Czechs like hornets....
The Czechs used to be great in counter attacking,break aways,2 on 1 etc..scoring etc...Not anymore...They are teethless and can't put the puck in the net...

They played an almost flawfless game, aside from the multitude of penalities they took. The Czechs had a decent first period again, but they needed to score on one of those powerplays. Had they done so, their motivation may have remained where it needed to be. As it was, they came out a bit flat in the second two frames again.
Incidentally, where were all the Czech fans again for this game? I thought the stands would surely be rocking last night more than they were.
