  1. Bill McWilliams from Montreal, Canada writes: Stick to shoes Reebok and let Canadians make hockey jerseys.

Next we'll hear how NHL pucks are made from some new fangled material from China containing lead. Or maybe a new type of alloy for hockey sticks. How about artificial ice?
  2. Dick Florence from Canada writes: I wish they would "modify" their ugly uniforms right out of existence.
  3. Wally Grisold from Toronto, Canada writes: Good thing too, but I don't think that it affects the Leafs and their jerseys though. The last few games it appears they have not even worked up a good sweat.
  4. John White from New Waterford, Cape Breton, writes:
Not only do these new uniforms not do what they're supposed to, they're not even close when it comes to the classy looks of previous year's models. In fact, a heck of a lot of NHL sweaters now need very close scrutiny to figure out what team they belong to.
  5. Wally Grisold from Toronto, Canada writes: John White: They belong to Team Bettman, that's who!
  6. Rob C from Lakeside, PEI, Canada writes: They suck, get rid of them...what a dumb mistake
  7. P P from Canada writes: Bring back the old ones, the new ones suck.
  8. Johnny Choy from Vancouver, Canada writes: Stu Grimson...Assoc. Counsel for the NHLPA

    Who'd ever thunk it???
  9. G Danks from Canada writes: They, as has already been mentioned, go out and ditch the whole new look. I am an Oilers fan and everytime they play my son asks "Is this a game or a practice". Thanks for keeping everything a secret so we could yell about how weak these uniforms are. Now the players are commenting about the new jerseys not absorbing sweat but being just as heavy, great new technical fabric Costanza.
  10. Kevin D from Saskatoon, Canada writes: The thing about these jerseys is that they are supposed to repel water and presumably allow the players to skate faster.

The game is already pretty fast. How much of an increase are we even talking about and if all players have a slight increase then the relative speed increase is almost nothing. What's the point of this? Bring back the old jerseys that actually had some style. I just want to see good competitive hockey. Having players move slightly faster won't help that.
  11. Steve Gibbons from Calgary, Canada writes: Have to echo the complaints above. The Away jerseys of almost every team are horrible looking. It looks like a bunch of kids out there with their shirttails hanging out. Why does the league continually need to f#ck with their own product? Get rid of the new jerseys and go back to the old ones.
  12. Gardiner Westbound from Canada writes: . Hockey players sweat. Who knew? .
  13. Rob C from Lakeside, PEI, Canada writes: ..They look like low budget uniforms for house league teams, vs nicer ones worn by rep teams. What an(other) embarrassment
  14. j.r ewing from vancouver, Canada writes: the moisture is just absorbed somewhere else, so there is no advantage. Plus I think George Parros and others go through about two jerseys a game from ripping, because of his "style" of play.
  15. jethro bear from ottawa, Canada writes: What sort of lame testing did these go through? A couple of games played at the AHL level would have revealed these problems. Reebok/NHL must be worried about the impact this adverse news has on fans purchasing the new look. Just what I want, wearing my new-style jersey to the pub, sweat dripping all over. I miss the sight of a player busting down the wing, his jersey flapping in the tailwind.
