There is only one team in the east...and your gonna meet them Thursday Habs fans!!!!!!

Habs remind me of the Leafs....losers
  2. The Habs from Toronto, Canada writes: What I cannot understand about Komisarek was that he was on his forehand and switched to his backhand to put the puck off the boards. You would think at this level he could have the touch to use his forehand to loft the puck out of the zone. Silly play, led to a penalty and a loss. Good game by Huet and Vokoun. This penalty does not hide the fact that the team has no finish after two home games, 1 point and 1 goal.
  3. garlick toast from mill village, Canada writes: they played well for 58 minutes.brisebois is taking up where he left off, blocked shots and defensive lapses.carbo should reunite latendresse and lapierre.
  4. Mike Mike from writes: Carbo should be canned. The guy has no clue. All other 29 teams in the league put their best players on the ice with 1 minute to go. What does he do? He puts his 4th line on... What? Just because it was their turn? I am not even talking about his bonehead insistance on playing stiffs like Brisbois (my god, was that turnover a classic of what?) and Murray while guys like O'Byrne and Lapierre are burning AHL.
Carbo must have been a great player for his role and his time, but he is way out of step here. Why can't montreal ever get a good coach and a GM at the same time?
Looks like this season is another write off. :(
  5. Alberto Bayo from Canada writes: Vokoun steals the show. Habs outplayed them and lose. C'mon Carbo, mix it up a bit.... send down Latendresse and bring up Maxime Lapierre.

    Amen to that.
  8. Dave T from midwest, Canada writes: What a shock.
  9. John O'Meara from Canada writes: Bye bye Montreal. The season's over for you guys. Sorry. Wanted: Better players, better coaches, better management.
  10. Matthew Perro from Calgary, Canada writes: All you people who are saying byee bye Montreal, and how there is only one team in the east.....did you even watch the game? Montreal played an amazing game, unfortunately for them Vokoun was standing on his head and spitting nickles. Most nights a team that has that many quality chances and plays that well walks away with a decisive win, tonight was not the case, but it shows that the Habs will have fight in them this season. GO HABS GO!
  11. Alberto Bayo from Canada writes: Vokoun could have stopped BB's last night.
  12. Johhny W from Toronto, Canada writes:

The test will be Ottawa on Thursday...although they may have a chance as Ottawa will have been off a while and not game ready

    We'll see
  13. Max - from Canada writes: Right on, Matthew! Most of these guys make comments based on the game's highlights and haven't even seen the game! The HABS were on the right track, totally dominating the Panthers 'til the 58th minute, but lost it because of poor judgment by one defenceman. But that's how they learn! With mistakes comes ackowledgment, and then improvement! Did you see Higgins!?! He was flying all night long...this kid id going to be something special...he's got heart! Oh, and about the "only team in the east" crap...the team itself is pretty darn good, yeah, but the fans gotta be the most boring and uninspired there is in Canada!!! I was kinda glad the cup parade ended up in Anaheim last season 'cause O-town would have ruined it. The parade would have started at around 6:30 and everybody would have been home by 7:00!! With one arrest for spitting on the sidewalk! I should know, I live in this snooze-fest-of-a-town! Yeah, that's it Sens fans, get your tassels out and wear your red shirts to get going, freakin' original! If you want a real hockey atmosphere, drive a couple hours east of snooze town!
  14. Johhny W from Toronto, Canada writes:

Say what you want Max...Habs won't make the playoffs...they are too much like Toronto.
  15. Steve Prime from Canada writes: Montreal had the game in the bag until they got the bonehead penalty. Florida was lucky. Plain and simple. Vokoun was the only reason Florida won.
  16. Hugo Lapointe from Montreal, Canada writes: Cant blame Brisebois for the fluke, he got the pass in his skates rather than on the tape - blame the passer. Habs will be a tough team this year but their struggle to put the puck behind the goaltender will haunt them again.
  17. Bill from Port Credit from Canada writes: The number of posts tells one how little the Habs matter. If this was yet another Leaf loss (hold on until Friday morning) there would have been at least a 100 posts by now. I think yesterday there was at minimum 150 posts!

The Leafs suck, but they do get a lot of press coverage because that's what a majority of Canadian's want to read about.
  18. Alberto Bayo from Canada writes: Bill....the Montreal Gazette has 118 posts about the Habs game. The Globe is Toronto-centric.
  19. Johhny W from Toronto, Canada writes:

Bill...did you say the majority of Canadians want to read about how bad the Leafs suck???
  20. Johhny W from Toronto, Canada writes:

    Max...your an idiot.

You say Ottawa is snoozefest of a town...yet you live there??

Move to Montreal and party with the other fans when the Habs don't make the playoffs AGAIN.

God...looking at the 3 teams within 5 hours of one another...I am SO happy that Ottawa is my team.
  21. Brandan Matchett from halifax, Canada writes: If it makes you feel any better, lot's of us leaf fans know exactly how you feel.

Misery likes company and all that.
  22. Warren H from Canada writes: hey Max....why don't you do us all a favour in Ottawa......move to Montreal, nobody will miss you . You obviously lead a sheltered life....Ottawa was hopping last year @ Playoff time.....you were glad the cup parade ended in Anaheim?? you were aware that the parade was in the parking lot of the arena.....my, that must have been exciting. The Ottawa you describe in your rambling is not the Ottawa that I live in.....am wondering if you ever leave your apartment ?
  23. Max - from Canada writes: Johhny W: At least come up with an original insult...gees..."you're an idiot?"...that's the best you can do?!? By the way, I have lived in Montreal...best hockey town around, now I live here because of work but go back to MTL every chance I get. And I'm happy you like your team...good for you champion! But I'll take a game in MTL over one in desert land Scotia Bank Place any day of the week! I mean damn, exhibition games in MTL are more exciting than playoff games in Snoozeville...I should know I was at one of them last season...! If you didn't have all the gimmicks to get the fans going every time you'd fall asleep by the second period. Yeah, I'm an idiot...and you're a Sens fan.
  24. Warren H from Canada writes: hey Max.....your last post just confirmed Johhny's statement......you are an idiot.....maybe not original.....but 100 % applicable.
  25. Johhny W from Toronto, Canada writes:

    Max,

Did you go back to Montreal last April to watch the Sens play hockey on TV at the Peel Pub?

What does one do in "the best hockey town around" when the city doesn't have a team in the playoffs?

Work??...have to live in Ottawa for work?

You mean to tell me you can't work at a Subway in MTL?

When you talk of exhibition games being more exciting do you mean the seven straight Ottawa won?

There will be a game tomorrow night in the "desert".

I think its between the Eastern Conference Champs and that team from Quebec that didn't make the playoffs last year?

Yes Max...your an idiot and I'm a SENS FAN.

  26. Max - from Canada writes: Like I said...boring town, uninspired people and total lack of originality. I don't mind being the idiot...at least I have some fun with it! And Johnny, if you actually knew what my work was you'd understand that I "need" to be in Ottawa several days out of the week to make decisions that will affect your miserable life but still have a place in MTL to go back to when I want. As for the Subways, I could own a few in Ottawa and MTL combined if I wanted to, so I'm not to worried on that front. So keep getting your panties in a knot, put on your "red army" t-shirt, your beer helmet, cheer for the Sens, thank god every day your town has an NHL team, because nothing else about it is worth mentioning (Parliament doesn't count) and enjoy the first day of the rest of your life! You might want to invite Warren H too, I think he likes you..:-0

  28. Warren H from Canada writes: hey maxipad: did I strike a nerve....lol....why the two identical posts? Do you usually have a problem getting your point across? LOL and let us know when you buy those Subways...LOL then maybe you can change your name to " Duke of No Account ' lol
  29. Max - from Canada writes: Yeah, you stroke something alright...my funnybone!! And why do you use LOL so much?...trying to tell people where they should laugh is not a good sign....or maybe it's just an acronym for Lots of Losers... Don't worry, by the time I buy those Subways, you'll be cleaning my floors...! LOL LOL LOL LOL
