  1. L. Gray from Toronto, Canada writes: Newsflash to Sam. The last I checked the Raptors did not get off to good starts, in fact terrible starts, the last two years with training camp in Southern Ontario. Perhaps training camp in Europe is just what this team needs.
  2. Mike S from Ottawa, Canada writes: I am so sick and tired of hearing about professional athletes complain about their arduous travel. They fly in luxurious private planes, don't have to spend hours in airports, have someone else handle their tickets and luggage, get limo'd to 5-star hotels, etc. And once they arrive they play basketball!

I typically put in more business travel miles a year than any professional team. If I fly to Europe, it's 12 hours of travel and I go to business meetings when I arrive.

    What a bunch of cry-babies...
  3. R. Bruce Norris from Nanaimo BC, Canada writes: I like Sam as a coach but these comments about the training camp make him sound like just another American. If any travel is outside of North America(or the USA) Americans are not comfortable. I think it will be a great opportunity for the team to bond and have fewer or no distractions.
  4. Edwin Green from Trenton, Canada writes: how come raptors have not signed Roko Ukicas a another guard looks like he is a good player better them some the raptors have go raptors go
  5. Sean O'Reilly from Canada writes: I kind of get where he is coming from. I am no fan of our north american leagues taking their acts on the road with the idea of promoting the game. Our talk of expanding it over sea's.

I don't see how it benefits us fans here, and I believe it to be what it is. An excuse to sell a few more shirts and hats, greed essentially.
  6. Roger S from Canada writes: I think Sam is looking for an excuse for a potential slow-start. After all Sam never get anything good from his training camp at Southern Ontario.
