Midtown Bob from Toronto, Canada writes: I googled "1976 east german swim team" and got http://www.steroid-abuse.org/the-wonder-girls-women.htm
as a result. Kornelia Ender was a physical monster! She also won 4 Gold Medals in pool.
Me thinks the Chinese have developed something good for their athletes that is undetectable with the current technologies just like the "1976 east german swim team" .
I predict China will clean up the medals at Beijing then the truth will come out years later.- Posted 15/08/07 at 11:30 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

L. C. from Canada writes: Doping is a problem no matter where you are. I don't like the idea they specificly pin-pointing at one specific country. Anyways, with the population like China, they can really have a lot of unknown athletes just came out from nowhere and win a medal or 2.

Graham Magus from Toronto, Canada writes: They shouldn't have the games anyway.........the whole thing is a disgrace. Those of us with brains and a backbone still remember Tianamen Square and the black curtains around it to keep from public view the bodies of innocent students run over by Chinese tanks or shot down like dogs for having the courage to speak against a tyrannical and evil government.
Giving them the games has lent legitimacy to a government that has no place at a table with people of a civilized nature.- Posted 16/08/07 at 12:51 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
