Jim Summers from Waterloo, Canada writes: Doping is just another way of cheating in sports, and there has been cheating as long as there have been sports. Why do we need umpires and referees if we don't expect players to try to cheat? The problem isn't that sportsmen are being caught cheating, but our surprise that it is happening. Somehow, despite the fact that it has never worked, we assume that if we can only get the penalties right, people will be deterred from ever cheating. We need to get over this unrealistic attitude; it is human nature to cheat if you think you might not get caught and the stakes are high enough; no penalty is going to deter you if you think you're not going to get caught. We are doing the best we can, we catch the cheaters we can and disqualify them; it is a pipe dream to hope we can eliminate cheating.

Wayne Turcotte from Kanata, Canada writes: Doping is very bad. Killing defenseless dogs is worse and the nfl is disappointed in this moron...disappointed... I am disappointed in Motorola and Siruis Radio and Wendy's for advertising with this to support the killing of animals. I hope these three will take a stand like Reebox did and suspend contracts. I hope the commisioner of the NFL will stand up and be counted on this charge. I have 150 dogs in my back yard and some carcasses. Not Guilty...
