Mike Berezin from London, Ontario, writes: I hear Paul Godfrey's new job is to keep Ted Rogers away from open windows and balconies. Because if this team continues as it is, he'll never be able to sell enough cell phones to cover the 8 figure losses he's sure to absorb from the baseball operations this year alone.
And if Ted has had enough, not only will Paul Godfrey and JP get the boot, but Ted will surely start a salary dump. Or at worst put the whole kit and kaboodle up for sale.
Problem is if TEd can't make it work, who else in Canada or anywhere would touch the Blue Jays, and also keep them in Toronto at the same time? If their best hope would be to minimize their losses? To quote a well known furniture salesman: "Nooobody!"- Posted 10/05/07 at 2:44 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
