Hockey city needs better policing

'La ville est hockey." The city is hockey. The Habs' slogan may be worded awkwardly, but it certainly describes the frenzy that's taken hold of Montreal.It's one of the few times since 1993 that the Canadiens have had a serious chance to win the Stanley Cup, and Montreal is awash in a sea of red, white and blue. Countless cars carry Habs flags. People of all ages and skin colours sport their Habs T-shirt from morning till night. The city's firefighters painted the Habs logo on the doors of their stations. The municipal government eventually forced them to erase the graffiti, but apparently still lets the police behave like overexcited fans.
